Don't use their credit. From their ancient, error-ridden website, to their unprofessional call centers, to their draconian policies and fees, they are set up to profit from you by capitalizing on fees - not from providing you any sort of useful service. If you navigate their system perfectly, you'll still pay more than if you had just used, say, a good rewards credit card. If you are tripped up at all (and their system is designed to make sure you do so), you'll get blasted with insane fees and retroactively applied interest at sky-high rates. I'm $300 poorer because I made the mistake of thinking I might save some money on my Nordictrack machine by taking advantage of an interest-free deal. If only I had used my rewards credit card... If only Nordictrack didn't partner with such an abominable company... Expensive lesson: never trust companies to have reasonable policies.
