Dr Pamela Santa Maria Drs office quotes one price for a visit and bills twice as much

I called Dr Pamela Santa Marias office to find out prices to see her. With no income and no insurance I had to know. Well, I was told 100.00 first visit and 50 after that. So on my one and only visit I paid my 100.00. I then received a bill for $230.00. I called and disputed this for months. They turned me to heir collection agency in Grand Island, NE! She is in Omaha, nE.

Well, today I get a summons that the credit mgmnt is suing me in Douglas county court. They are in Hall county, NE.

First of all they have my name wrong on the law suit. Its for a whopping $130.00.

I pay for all my dr visits up front on the visit or I do without proper medical care... For my incurable progressive disease!

So, after receiving this, I called the drs office and spoke with Diane the office manager. I gave her the situation and she insisted they do not treat their patients like this. I said busted... I have proof you do and I am looking at it.
What a crock.

The Dr is so greedy to have to sink to this level for $130!?!?! What the heck is the credit company involved for anyway, I have kept in contact with the drs office and they know I have no income and no insurance. Thank you uncle sam!

So, needless to say, I would not trust any Dr that quotes a price without it in writing, further more, if you do see Dr santa maria, I would have 100% insurance or they might bill you double too, and then sue you for a mere $130!!!

This is so disgusting. To do this to a person who already has been given a life of hell with an incurable progressive disease! She of all people should know not to add more stress on a person in this medical condition!
