They signed me up for insurance, then denied me!

I am a single mom, i looked online for medical insurance, i was contacted by this insurance, sounded good, so i signed up. I received temp. Cards, i made an appt. With dr., and a few days before our appt., the dr. Called and said, we were not covered! I said what? I called the gal who sold me the insurance, and she said oh, you are only covered for hosp. Visits. "Why would i want medical insurance, for only hosp. Visits? No physicians office visit? Thats dumb." So the rep. Told me just go to your office visit and we will retro it, and you will be covered. So my son went to the doctor, he had allergy symptoms. He was given a sample medicine, and over the counter stuff works just as good.

I went to Dr. For a bad re-occuring headache, i was referred to a neurologist. I was told to hold off on neurologist, because my insurance (physician office visit) was still pending. So i waited and suffered with my headaches, day after day... I called my Rep. And told her i needed to find out what was wrong with me., so she said she will call and take care of it, she called me back, and said i could go see the neurologist, and just pay my copay and i would be seen. (office visit was 277.00 @discount price) so i went, and Dr. Said, he did'nt think it was migraines, or a brain tumor, it was just muscle tention, because of stress, my father-in-law to be is dieing! And work has a lot of stress. So he referred me over to some physical therapy deep massages to work out the tention, then i should be fine.

Well i called the underwriter to see if they made a decision yet, so i could make my appt. And they said no, we need neurology report first, so i faxed them a copy and the underwriter said to call him in 2 days, so i called today, and asked them, and they said they denied my physician office visit coverage, because i NEED PHYSICAL THERAPY? So i am so upset, they have been automatically deducting 153.46 out of my account, the 2nd of every month, since June! I work in a doctors office, and i have one patient with the same insurance, so i called to verify coverage, and all he has is Hospital coverage, i called patient, and told him i had same problem - coinsidental? This Company ripps people off for a living - they need to be stopped!!!
