Fairbanks Capital the business that doesnt give a dam about the consumer, intimidation, people that have no clue!

It truley amazes me that this company can continue to stay in business with the numerous complaints aginst them!

We had a loan with Nation's Credit and it was sold to Fairbank's Capital Corp., then the problems started. My husband and I wanted to down scale to a smaller home and contacted a friend that is a realator. He had an interested buyer and we proceeded to fill out all of the paper work involved which included trying to get a pay-off on our home. Well... What a hassel that was, 2 months later the realtor finally called and said he got it after numerous calls, letters, and faxes!

Well, in the mean time, the buyer lost one of the investors that was going to buy the house with him but wanted the house if at all possible. We agreed to carry the loan for him thru Fairbanks... He would pay the title company the payment and the title company would pay Fairbanks Capital. Since that day, we have not had a peacefull moment... The calls started saying we were behind 3 payments, than a few days later, we were behind 4 payments... The buyer has never missed a payment as we get a reciept every month from the title co.

Then we get a call saying that we are behind $15,000 and they are going to foreclose. I tried to explain to this RUDE woman the situation and that it was impossible but, she wouldn't let ask any questions and wouldn't listen. After about the 10th call, the realator faxing verification of payment letters and the title company sending canceled checks to them, I got another call at 7:30AM on a Saturday from them stating that they were going to foreclose, that now we were still $15,000 behind on the payments! It's like (Whos on frist. Whats on second)!!!

I sincerely doubt if they will ever get it all figured out. They have put me and my family thru pure hell since they took over this loan. They still continue to call on a daily basis to the point of harassment. They wanted to know where I worked and what my phone number at work was, needless to say, I never gave it to them.

I usually don't write letters, but I feel that someone needs to take a long hard look at their business practices and the inexcuseable way that they handle customers.
