Cash Net USA Harasses NON-Consumers Too harassment scam disclosure early morning phone calls daily

CashNet USA has been calling my home every morning at approximately 9:00AM asking for a specific individual. I do not know the individual in question and have repeatedly asked them to quit calling since I am not their customer. They have refused to remove my number and continue to call and harass me daily.

Obviously, some customer of theirs got "smart" and decided to give a fake phone number and now I have been informed that they will continue to call me until they get to talk to this guy that I don't know and he gives them a different number.

I spoke to Aviance and her manager Linda. Both refused to remove my number from the records. I informed them that what they were doing was illegal collection and the fact that I now know this gentlemen owes them money was an illegal disclosure. They denied disclosing anything, but anyone can figure out that he does.

Previous attempts to have my number removed have resulted in them cursing at me and hanging up on me. Mind you, calling me at 9:00 a. M interrupts my sleep since I'm a night owl but I've yet to curse at them.

I was "told" to call their "customer service number" 1-888-801-9078 and talk to customer service (once again confirming my belief that I was speaking to collections). I plan to do that when I'm done here. My next two calls (depending on how they handle it) will be to the State Attorney General's office and to my phone company to block their calls and file a harassment report with them.
