Scammed from a credit repair service! Who can we trust these days?

I purchased services with this group about a year ago and paid $800 to them for services to improve my credit score. I was promised (guaranteed) services in a 30-45 day turn around period. I did not rcv any kind of help to improve my credit what so ever. The major issues that were on my credit that I was needing assistance in getting off were not even touched. Nothing was done and when I asked for a refund the company had refused. I need help in getting my money back that I lost with this company and to find out what other companies that are out there that will stand by their guarantee and help get me the results that I am looking for. Now I am out money and have no idea how to get it back. Please if some one is able to assist me out there I would appreciate it.
