Bait & Switch On Personal Loan deposit

I saw their ad listed in Newsday and thought hey - if they advertise there they certianly must be reputable.

On tuesday 6-24 I sent through an application online for a personal loan.

They contacted me Thursday 6-26 to say it was approved on the conditon of a security deposit of $763.64 broekn down into 2 payments. Once they receive the first via Western Union they would then release half the funds to me from which I would pay the other premium.

I did the payment, the money was picked up and then when I asked for the tracking number of my check I was told that the lender didn't agree to the half payment and I needed to pay it all.

Classic bait & switch after speaking with a supervisor I was told that I can get my money back in 7-21 days, UNACCEPTABLE! I have filed a fraud report with Western Union, My Bank and with the NYS State Attorney Generals Office. Western Union said to file a police report which I will do tomorrow.

Bottom Line STAY AWAY from them they are crooks!!! 1
