Miscellaneous

I was contacted to work from home for Goldman Sachs company. I went through an interview, filled out a hiring form. They contacted my references. They informed me I got the job and that there were certain software I needed to have to complete my job. They would be sending me a check, I would deposit it into my account then I would send the money to the vendor they do business with. I received the check on Friday, Nov 4th & deposited it into our account. The check was available on Tuesday, Nov 8th. I received directions to western union the money to the vendor contact, that information was emailed to me. If I was able to get the money sent that Tuesday I would have the software that week so I could start my new position next Monday. I sent the western union to the contact that Tuesday afternoon. I was informed on Thursday by the back that the check had bounced. I tried contacting the 2 people I have been in contact with, they said they would need to check with the accounting department and I have never heard anything back. I tried to cancel the western union payments but they were already picked up. I contacted the fraud department of western union and filed a police report with my local police department on Monday, Nov14th. They informed me that there wasn't anything they were able to do.
