Personal loan ripoff

I applied for a personal loan online and this gentleman called me back a fews days later saying that the only way they can approve me is if I send them 600.00 via Western Union for an insurance deposit and then they would send me the check for 5,000.00. My mom western union the money but she not being aware that the WI stood for West Indies she put Wisconsin, that is the only thing that saved me.

A few minutes later the company called me back and said that they had not received the funds and that I needed to call Western Union and so I did. Western Union said that they were a fradualant comapny and cancelled the transfer. I reported them with Western Union because they had advised me that this gentleman was under a name not a company and he was extremely busy with transfers.

I called his "assistant" and told her that I felt violated and scammed and she hung up on me and I never heard from them again.

I just don't want this to happen to anyone else and thankfully someone was looking out for me and I didn't lose my hard earned 600.00.
