Beware of fraud!

Today, I got my check for $3,820. It looked real, but I still hesitated to deposit it. I went to my bank and the teller informed me that the check is real (has all the security features) and offered to deposit it to my account. I still hesitated... It was too good to be true. I went to the bank manager, he looked at the check and immediately told me that it is a fraud. He advised me to take it to the police and file a report.
