Forced their sales pitch & Falsely represented their contracts

A CPC rep stopped by our home around November & asked our daughter about putting a charge card machine in our home. My daughter told the rep, Dee Norris, that we didn't think we would be interested, but the rep. Actually became an bothersome nuisance to us so we allowed let her come in and force her sales pitch on to us.

During the sales pitch my son and I REPEATEDLY kept asking the rep." What if we don't like the machine or we don't use it?" All she said was "Send it back - no problem!" She told us that if we cancelled the service, that CPC would charge us $695.00 for the cost of the machine if we did not send it back. We told her that it was no problem if we cancelled the service, that we wouldn't want the machine anymore. She never told us during the 2 hours that she was there that there was a "Early Termination Processing Fee" of $500 or any dollar amount, as far as that goes. She came late in the evening & it was even later when we got around to siging the contract. She told us, she had gone over everything printed in the contract, she whole heartedly made us think that we were getting such a good deal that we decided to sign it. She didn't tell us of the tricks and lies in the small print that threatened to ruin our credit if we didn't follow their plans. We contacted CPC after 6 months of having the service but not having the need to use it and we told them that we wanted the info on returning the product and we were directed to Kevin Ross. He is some type of money hungry Director of Cancellation. He told us of the numerous undisclosed fee that were involved in closing down the account. We contacted our rep. Who in turn, gave us another long winded speech on how we needed this machine in our lives, blah, blah, blah. She told us she could get us on an even BETTER plan, then before. And so on and so on. The lesson here is: Stay away from the credit card compaines and their subsidaries. Use good ole american cold hard cash.
