USA Credit
Rip-off eluded attempted unapproved bank withdrawl twice deceptive company

Business & Finance

I got an e-mail from consumer info.com and I thought it was for my Visa Gold Card I had applied for. It was from the (now dreaded) USA Gold Card. Looked so much like the Visa Gold.

I was so excited I filled out the application. At the end of the application I realized that it wasn't the Visa Gold so I hit the decline button. I didn't get confirmation on the decline so e-mailed them.

The e-mail wasn't running. How about that. I e-mailed consumer info and they gave me an e-mail account name. I e-mailed it and got this response, and I quote, "I am unable to locate a member under the email address or name which you provided. If you did not complete the entire appkication there will be no information in our database, nor will there be a charge to your account. If you feel this is an error, please send more information. (i. E address, ssn, etc.) Thank you. Sincerely, Toni, Member Services, USA Credit. I still have all e-mail from them and consumer info. Thank God.

The funny thing is that they attempted a wire transfer out of my bank account that very same day. Since I didn't want the card I hadn't transfered money to that account.

They attempted another one also but I had already closed out that account because of them.

I have since received two e-mails, which I have save also. They wanted me to send them money. Aren't they funny?

I have also recieved two billings from them. The last one was for 30.00.

They have sent me a card, which is still glued to the paper it was sent to me on. HINT—Don't activate that card!

I tried calling them during this time period. No answer. But I kept track of when I called and how many times I let it ring.

I tried e-mailing them. The e-mail was down and one of the links in the web site itself wasn't installed. Suprise, Suprise, Suprise!

I finally was able to reach someone, Live, at the #1-800-262-4192. Rebecca was very helpful. I wonder if she knows just who she works for?

Did you know, according the Rebecca, that just hitting the decline button does not decline the card? Your information has been sent and then, according the the terms in the aggreement, you are set up on the account for a lower credit line?

I guess they thought that gave them the right to attempt a wire transfer from my account.

What a nightmare!!!

I just called USA Credit and kept having to stress that I didn't want the card, I declined the card, don't send me any more bills, any more bills would be a reason for me to contact a lawyer because I don't want my credit threatend.

Rebecca said she would delete my name from their membership list. Don't give them your SSN again. They don't need it again. Just give the last four digits.

Good luck to anyone out there needing it. If your too scared to call these people, I will.
