Deceptive sales practices leading me to believe that nothing would be charged to me without my verbal approval

I was cold called by a represenative John Belcher who identified himself as a Trans Tech consultant. I explained to him that my CFO was in charge of the merchant card system and could not make any commitments at this time. He than emphatically stated that no charges were going to be made and that my application fee would be refunded if I did not vebally accept over the phone.

After confering with my CFO we discovered that the services at this time would not be cost effective and proceeded to verbally cancel with the representative. I was not told to write the letter of termination to be effective at the cancellation until talking to two other representatives.

After a call to Nate Edwards 888 415 0004 ext. 5817 I still was not satisfied with the fact that he felt no responsibility at all for his reps "possible" misrepresentation of the "application fee".

As the owner of a small bussiness I am so confident and honest I give a 100% satisfaction money back garantee to all my clients. Surely a billion dollar company such as TransTech has the integrity to correct a small problem for a possible future client.

After being "sold" I tried calling Mr. Belcher and have not recieved a call back. Another black eye for TransTech
