I was contacted by a transtech representative. They explained how i was being ripped off by my previous merchant provider. Typical sale pitch and i bought it. Transtech stated a 1.39 charge instead fot the normal 1.69 industry standard. The service rep shows up and had me sign a contract. Two weeks latter they sent a merchant ternminal. They had me fill out the paperwork to cancel the services of the previous provider. They did not cancel these services nor pay the early cancelation charges.

When i started using their machine, i had to call transtech on each and every transaction while the customer was waiting. Transtech gave me every reason in the book for this problem. My fax machine, removed it. Answering machine, removed it. The phone line to the building. Had the phone company replace the phone line. The phone line is high speed, that's the problem. Replaced the filter and check the old one. Still no change. Changed out my terminal, three times and an additional charge to me each time.

Now three weeks have gone by since i recieved their terminal and 5 weeks since i signed a contract. Transtech told me i can not get out of this contract. I way the odds of all the customers i have lost and will loose due to the credit and debit cards charges 2-5 times per sale. When i go to cancell the contract i call transtech and ask for their fax number, do you believe the cancelation department representative, (armethia, her name) stated to cancel or talk to a supervisor, i had to provide them with my social security number, ein number and my date of birth. I had asked 6 times clearly for a fax number and they would not respond with one. I have found the fax number on this web site. So, i faxed my cancelation notice. I will dispute any additional monies removed from the business account by transtech. Transtech told me that would attach my credit report. I will dispute this and if and when they try to sue me, they have to send representative to the small village i live and work in. If i am wrong please inform me otherwise. But i can not afford loosing customers at a rate of 20% due to their over billing and underhanded practise.
