My husband was going to open an account with them so he went online to request a card. We received the card and called to activate it but he was sent to the fraud department to confirm his identity. They told him that the information about his life was not what was on his credit report. He told them he did not want the card and they told him 'fine'. I ran his credit report and everything he told them was on his report but they said he was a liar. They froze his account and sent him a bill for activation fees when the card was never activated. We have called them but every time he calls they say he is not who he claims he is. We have sent letters and included a copy of his drivers license and household bills with his name and address to confirm his identity but have received no response. Every month they tack on late fees for the activation fee and will not allow him any access to that account or close it like he asked. Not sure what else we can do. He was trying to build his credit and they are ruining it.
