Claims payments not received then files for foreclosure fraudulent ripoff business

They informed me on 11/15 that they had not recieved a payment (a money order) that they actually had cashed on 8/30. They used this to charge me $3000 in legal fees that were totally un-necessary.

In addition, I now have late payments on my credit report of 30 to 120 days because the money I've sent since had never been credited to my account. If this isn't shady, I don't know what is. I have called a half dozen times since I have had this proof and now no one will return my calls.

I hope maybe a bunch of us consumers can get together to do something about this obvious rip-off.

I am also filing a formal complaint with my Attorney General's office and think other people in my situation should the same.
