They are trying to make me lose my jo

On Tuesday April 22, my co-worker received and transferred a call to me from 'Rachael, ' who identified herself as a manager in the legal department of HBS Services. I advised Rachael to contact me on my cell phone after work hours, but she instead attempted to call right away, going straight to my answering machine. She called my workplace right back, having to go through the receptionist again. Somewhere in between her calls to my cell phone and workplace, she called my supervisor and disclosed all of the debt information.

I returned Rachael's call on my break and advised her at that time that I could not receive calls at my job, but that after I talked to my husband, I'd call her back the following day to discuss arrangements.

The following day, Wednesday, April 23, Rachael called my workplace AGAIN and I advised her AGAIN that I was not allowed calls at work but I'd have to call her on my break. She continued to talk over me, saying that she'd just keep calling my supervisor repeatedly. I told her I knew that was illegal and that once the debtor informs them not to call their workplace, the calls should cease. I took down the fax number and faxed a letter to HBS Management's attention, stating what Rachael was doing and informing them to stop calling my workplace.

In less than 20 minutes, Rachael was calling both my cell phone and called my workphone twice. She even attempted to disguise herself as 'Monica.' She said if I didn't make arrangements, she'd just keep calling my supervisor, my job, and the payroll department.

This was the first time I ever felt helpless. I was afraid to give any more of my personal information to even make an arrangement. I felt totally powerless and afraid that I'd lose my job over a $500 payday loan.

This company is awful and the male she transferred me to was not much better. He refused to give me an address where I could send a certified complaint letter to and would not allow me to speak to a real manager. This company and its associates are in all kinds of violation of the FDCPA rules and regulations and someone needs to stop them.
