Collection Scam

I have received at least 2 letters from this company, GC Services Collection, stating that I owe $2400.00 for unpaid child support to Riverside County California. When I check with the Child Support Dept of Riverside County, they say I owe over $1000.00 less, and that the account is current and not in collections. I have been paying this amount down every month (directly from my paycheck), in addition to my current child support, and every month I get a statement from Riverside County reflecting current payment and arrears payment received.

When I call this "GC Services", all I get is an answering machine that sounds like someone's personal machine, not a business! I have left several messages, each one nastier than the last, all including my phone number and their "account number" for me, and have not heard back once. THIS IS A SCAM!!! If just 1 in 10 people send these people the money they are demanding, they have won. I am filing complaints of mail fraud with the USPS and any other agency I can find. I have also contacted an attorney who deals with mail fraud, and we are putting a case together. So long, GC Services! If not right now, soon!!!
