$15,301.08 Demand for Child Support scam... Huh?

I am receiving phone calls and threatening letters in regaurd to a child support case that i was unaware of. On Christmas Eve I received a bill stating I owe $15,302.08 for child support from the riverside county department of child support services of california. They say that if I don't send them the full amount by check or money order they will garnish my wages, suspend my drivers license or put leins on real and personal property. I try to call the 800 number listed, and I get an answering machine. Where and how they got my name and address is beyond me and if I owed anyone $15,302.08 I would not just send them a money order or check.
