Countrywide Mortgage foreclosure - Countrywide

My friend who got a mortgage from Countrywide is now going into foreclosure.

The mortgage she was sold was not explained properly and reset at a ridiculous percentage.

No news here right. It is on TV everyday.

But my point is, why do they get away with this. It is wrong to sell people things like this and mislead them.

It is a national embarrassment and i think that other then wall street losers this country is in trouble for a long time. If my friend who has a good job and is in trouble i can only wonder what the rest of the country is doing.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get around foreclosure? Places she can call? Programs she can join to work with others with the same situation?
