Capital One
Changed my payment due date without notice, then charged me late fees and over the limit fees

Business & Finance

I got my card when I was eighteen and almost always paid it on time. It was a pretty small card, only $500. I have had the card for eleven years. Last year they changed my payment due date, never notified me and then started tacking on the charges.

Every time I pay them, they think of a new charge, or up my rates so that they can charge me more. Ever since this started happening, I've been trying to pay the card off, but they just keep charging me more and more. I called to have the rates reduced again, they lowered it from around 21% down to 16% for a time. When I confronted them about the date switch, they said, "This is the payment due date that you've always had." Well guess what? I have old bills that say otherwise.

Not only that, someone opened a Capital One card in my seventy-year-old grandmothers name and charged about $20,000 on it. They are hassling her about it, but she's never even seen it. She asked them to send her a copy of the contract, but they refuse. She wants to see her signature. Then they call asking her for a copy of her drivers license. She refused, because it has her signature on it.

These people have done a one-eighty in their business tactics and it's time for them to go.
I am interested in a lawsuit.
