United Online Collections Division
Mail Fruad Attempt

Business & Finance

United Online Collections Division invoiced my company for an email account balance that does not exist. They attempted to collect $19.90 claiming it is past due and in order to prevent "further collection activity" they assign a deadline to receive payment and stop collection activity.

This company offers a phone number to contest within 30 days (866-210-1700) but all that is there is a recorded message instructing how to pay this fraudulent invoice. Best part is they take all forms of payment: Checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

I can't imagine what happens to your credit if you send these people credit card info... Beware.
