Jp Morgan Chase Card Services, And Bethpage Federal Credit Union
Chase card services and Bethpage Federal Credit Unions Mortgage dept. Two big ripoffs Wilmington, Bethpage DE and New York

Business & Finance

My trouble began when I started a to refinance my home with a broker who took over 9 weeks to do his job which made me late with my mortgage payment. That I can admit is my own fault but without my knowledge Bethpage Federal Credit Union just took the funds available from my checking account without giving me the chance to even pay a late fee.

Now if that isn't bad enough I didnt know they were already paid so I sent my wife with half cash and half chase credit card check in the amount of $1484 the bank told my wife the mortgage is paid and then promptly grabbed my credit card check from wifes hands and said they will just apply that to the next months mortgage. Had I been there I would have stopped them from taking an extra payment like that when I found out later the same day I called chase to put a stop payment on the convenience check and was told there would be no problem at all they would stop the check from going through. I also called BFCU to complain about them grabbing my IRS refund money that was wired into my checking in order to pay the mortgage without notifying me and then talking my wife into making an extra payment. I had thought everything was resolved the bank gave me back the portion of money I had paid in cash but gave me a story about how I have to leave the $1484 with the mortgage dept and then call chase to cancel the check otherwise they would mark me as a late payment! I asked the rep at the bank how can I be considered late when you were already paid for february and march didn't come yet so how can I be late by taking back an extra payment your not supposed to have he talked me into it. A few days later the chase fraud dept called me to make sure I wanted to put a stop payment on the check and to go over the details of what happened with my mortgage bank and told me everything would be fine and the check would be stopped. Apparently it isn't fine because today I received my new bill for april with the $1484 still on my account and a $45 service fee when I called chase to rectify this I was told there's nothing they can do and because I signed the check and my wife gave it to the bank they cashed it the same day they didn't want to hear that they told me they would take care of it last month I was switched around to different call centers some not in this country one rep offered to cancel my account, another tried to sell me privacy protection and another admitted someone put a stop payment on the wrong amt and check # I advised them it's not my fault if you stopped the wrong check that didn't exist at least you can see I ordered a stop around the same time for the similar amount how stupid can you be they adivse me I am liable now for the whole $1484 plus the $45 transaction fee and BFCU has an extra payment on my mortgage that I never intended to give them. I am currently going to refi my home with a different broker and should be done in two weeks but why should I pay off an extra amount that I was told would be taken off.
