Gfginc.net Committed mortgage fraud, consumer fraud encouraged me to commit fraud

Steve Elie at Gabriel Financial Group, 5100 Eden Ave, Edina, mn is a complete fraudster. I had the unfortunate experience of working for him for the past couple months. I am a loan officers Assistant, meaning I call prospective clients and tell them about new mortgage products.

I have been doing this for 6 years now. When I started at Gabriel financial Group, Steve, the branch manager asked me If I had any way of recontacting previous clients, from previous employers. I told him that I did, but some of it was with social security numbers, personal info, ect. He said that was "fine, bring it in".

What he had me doing was call back these clients, and tell them we had previous business dealings with them, and we'd like to see if there was anything new that can help out on the monthly finances. They would believe us, becouse we would have their social security number. He would even pull credit on them before having me call them (illegal?)

He also told me to call them on my cell phone, and gave me cash every week, to help out with the cell phone bill. I found out this was illegal, because at least on the first time contacting the customer, the company name had to show up on the caller ID, according to the national do not call list, a federal law. He told me not to worry, as long as we told them we had previous business with them, they wouldnt know the difference, plus, he said, we have their social security number, how could we have that, unless we hadnt talked to them in the past.

When we pulled peoples credit, if it was really good, before we called them, he told me if they didnt do anthing with the company, he used to be a car sales guy, and still knew "people in the business", and could have their credit pulled a bunch of times from the cars sales guys he knew, to keep the credit score dameaged enough to make it hard to work with, but if we kept in contact with them over months, they would eventually ask us for a loan when it came time.

I also talked to a client to see how things were going with the loan process, and she said Steve had her meet him at a hotel bar, A radison, and after a few drinks told her her loan was a hard one to do, but if she would "help" out in some ways (told her he had a room upstairs) it would be alot easier, and also wouldnt cost so much in fee's.

This guy is married folks, his wife comes in every monday, she is a realtor.
