Ken Scott - Manager Ken Scott ran my credit report AGAINST MY EXPRESS WISHES NOT TO ripoff Valley Springs California

I was called by a loan officer named Steve who told me they were going over old records of an officer who no longer works there and 'trying to straighten out the mess she left'.in talking with him he said he would be able to help my situation on my home loan and would do so for free considering what a botched up job it was and asked a few questions. He already had my info from a previous loan. I told him what my credit score was and specifically told him not to run my credit as it drops my score. He said "I'll write a big not on your file here, Do Not Run Credit" and said he was giving it to his manager Ken Scott as he is "the expert" on this type of thing.

The next day I received a call from Ken Scott saying he had a loan for me, etc and I found out he ran my credit. I complained, reminding him of the note on my account, and he said "hold on" and came back to say "Yes I did run it but it won't hurt you..."

I am outraged that he did this as it always drops my score.in addition, he wanted me to refinance, paying a $6000.00 prepayment penalty plus $7,000 worth of costs to add to my mortgage raising my payment $20.00 and no cash to me. I told him no thanks.

I need to know where to file as I was told by Steve they will have to pay a penalty of $2500.00 for runing my credit like that.
