Apr% tripled to 28.9%, late once in 2 yrs

I have had a card with Orchard for just about 2 yrs. I was late once, just once and they TRIPLED, yes TRIPLED my APR from 9.9% to 28.95%. They said that in the terms of the agreement they could run another credit report on me at anytime and change the rate. This is a piece of garbage company who says they help people rebuild their credit, they do nothing but kill you with fees and lie, lie, lie, and continue to lie through their teeth. You can't even get someone who speaks english to talk to, hell the supervisor couldn't even speak english. I have two other credit cards, a $3,000 limit with 8.95%, never late, $600 limit, 0% apr, never late, car loan, never late, personal loan, never late, etc, etc. Etc. Since my bankruptcy I have been late on one payment, one, to every bill that have and these jamokes are putting the screws to me because if I close this account, my friend who works in the industry tells me that it would hurt my credit report quite a bit, so I just kep it open and pays these idiots their monthy fee and NEVER use the card again.
