Bank Of America
Welcome to the real world... Completely ripped of by Lasalle bank

Business & Finance

I am finally part of this brutal so called "real world' of work that I slaved four years away at college for. Recently I was the lucky receipient of first $132 in overdraft charges, followed a day later by $165. I can't believe Bank of America, trusty and friendly with their little American flag logo would do this to an American.

On 2/19 I had five items finally post to my bank account. They had all physically taken place between 2/15 and 2/16. Looking back now, I see that the transactions are all put into my account in reverse order, doesn't matter when they took place by the amount of the transaction. For example:

1.20
5.80
11.20
37.00
59.00

Instead of how I really purchased them, definately not in that order. The woman at the bank was completely uneducated or able to communicate in any language that made sense... Mumbling about how companies hold your purchases blah blah blah. I get it okay. They held it for a week... Until they were postive they could induce me to overdraft once, then wham put all the "pending charges" on the overdrawn account. This happened for the 132 overdraft charges... Then to put the icing on the cake... They proceded to overdraft my account for 165 dollars in more charges of "anticipated charges. Which had not even occured yet! My account was positive when they did this. Unbelievable. I am 23 and I just began my full time job out of college and this is what I receive from corporate blood sucking companies like ""Bank of America".. Aka "bank of greedy bloodsucking b*st*rds" FU
