Rip off totally free checking what a fraud false promises

Hello! I am writing this to let anyone who is considering becoming a customer of charter one to stop and read before you make that big mistake. I have been a customer for six years. When i became a customer i was happy with charter one they guarantied totally free checking and that's what i got. Now for the last three years charter one is still promising totally free checking but... Only if you follow their rules which was not in their agreement with me when i became a customer.

Charter one will give you a nice gift for a new account and basiclly make you pay for it the rest of the time you are with them. If i am correct when someone says totally free that it means what it says! How is it free when you have to pay to get your own money out of the bank. If you do not use their card three times a month in a store you will be charged a dollar. If you use their card as a debit instead of a charge. You will get charged fifty cents for every transaction you make. When you purchace checks you would of assume you do not have to pay to get them back. They now charge five dollars every month if you want your checks back.

If you call customer service more than three times a month they will charge you twenty five cents each call. Does this seemlike totally free checking to you! This to me is a perfect example of a scam. Do not fall for it. Totally free is total bull!
