SPS "Select Portfolio Serving" - Have you been abused too?

I have been abused by SPS since trying to keep everything together and taken their abusive practices since day 1. I just past my 12 months of no lates with my mortgage and am hoping that there is away I can finally refi my home and get away from them before they take advantage of me again.

Even what they report to the credit bureaus is wrong all the way down to the remaining balance. The payoff they give me when I ask is 259 K and everywhere else it is reported as 245K.

I have been through a forebearance plan with them back in 2005 when my mortgage hit 90 days, 1 time within the 7 year history of this mortgage. The 90 day late was ultimately caused because my payroll check was delayed due to my corporate offices being destroyed with Hurricane Rita. After paying them 5k initially my payment and interest rate has gone up an additional 700 a month. I have fought tooth and nail to avoid any late payments. Even after all this they show me owing them over 5K in late fees.

If there is ever a class action suit against them I want in. I paid them over $37,000 in 2007 of which barely $2,000 went to the principle of the loan the rest was interest. We love our home and don't want to sell it or lose it. I believe they are in business to try and take peoples homes. I've asked about refi and options with them over the years. All they ever say is "We aren't a mortgage company - We are a Mortgage Servicing Company". They are the slime of the earth as far as I am concerned and I feel they are a major reason the housing market and foreclosures are ruining the economy.
