Claim I missed Payment Waterloo, Arizona

When Homecomings bought my loan the other company said I had missed a payment. I called and was told that they could see the payment had been made to the other company.
A month or two later they came back and claimed the June payment wasnn't made and they had no record ot it. I had lost my records at the time but kept after them about which payment had been missed. Now they said it hadn't been missed but had bounced. I asked and asked them for a check number but they always were unable to answer. After six or so months I managed to get an employee who got me the check number.

I was told at that time it would take up to two months to take it off my record and credit. I got a letter from their accounting department stating they were in error and it would be cleared up.

I waited the two months and it still wasn't taken off so I called and was told by another account person that they had been mistaken all this time and I had missed the October payment.

This was completely incorrect, the late had stated showing up in October but was about the June payment. I was so sick of dealing I just payed an extra month and went on with my life.

They never took any of the lates off my credit report so it became impossible for me to to refinance as my payments went up and up making my credit even worse.
