Student Loan Collection Harassment Threatened Me With: Taking my Driver's License Away and Private Credit Card Charges

NCO Financial and Student Loan Collections.

NCO has taken over the collection of my student loan debt.

I am disabled and on social security.

As other posts have stated, they would not accept any payment plan that I have suggested, and either would Sallie Mae. I have tried to work something out with them for 3 years to no avail. Now they are threatening me with many things.

One of the most concerning is that they had item by item information on my credit card charges for the month! Is this legal? Do they have the right to see my credit charge statements? This wasn't just an amount owed but several actual charges with the information on what is was, where it was and how much it was. Do I have recourse?

Not only that but 35% of the debt is now interest and fees only. Also, if my now husband did not sign on any of my loans can they take his tax return? I cannot believe this company.

They also threatened me once by telling me that they could take my driver's license away. Even though I talked to a higher up and this was rescinded, it was a harrassment attempt that is being used!
