Peoples Credit First
With so many complaints why do they continue like this?

Well I did it I fell victom so what now? They said I could have a refund if I sent the package back? But for a commpany to be so deceptive in there wording in the first place I dont place much value in that. Although it stated clear as day "you may use your platinum card immediatly upon reiept for all purchases from the credit provider."

They failed to mention that there is a required down payment for the purches. And the you are aproved! In bold letters at the top of the offer they sent misslead into believing this was a indeed a credit card. Unfortunatley i did not notice that at the time I sent the $49 dollars that this card could only be used to purchase from them! Needless to say since this was my first attempt at a credit card I was excited! But boy was I let down hard when I finnally received it. Only to discover a catolog from specialty merchandice corporation called
the world of products.

I too once had a membership to smc at access to all those products at a fraction of the cost. Smc does not promote practices such as this as it can eassily give them a bad rep if like in this case it were sent to a former member.

I intend on filling out full report to smc and encourge others to do the same while I may of been the dumbass that didnt full understand what I was getting into the fact remains that they purpusly attempted to imitate a credit card company. They could have easily avoided this problem by simply being up front. And described in detail what they were doing and how it could be used to help your credit, but instead they hid behind a missleading add like they were not confident in the service or products they they were selling. If they had been up front I still would have sent in my $49 I love to shop! But instead they lied even though the truth was on the page it ws still masked. And I believe that any one who purchases somthing through a missleading add deserves not only compinsation but also a public appologie. I hope this info helps you guys some enjoy your revenge!!!
