Continental Advantage Care
Promised a Master Card with $2,000 credit line received a catalog & debit card Didn't honor my request for membership cancellation

Business & Finance

A representative from Continental Advantage called me in April. He said I was eligible for a MasterCard with a $2,000 credit limit. He assured me that I would receive the Master Card in 2 weeks.

A fee of $199 was required to receive the MasterCard.

About 4 weeks later I received a catalog and a Platinum Express Card to make purchases from the catalog. A postcard came with the packages stating I would receive the MasterCard in 21 days.

In order to receive the MasterCard I was told to enroll in Continental Advantage Care and to send in a processing fee $39.00 first month and a $20.00 registration fee.

I was asked to send a voided check for monthly electronic renewal of membership $39.00 per month.

When I finally received the MasterCard in June it was a debit ChexCard with no funds in the account not a credit card.

In order to cancel my membership I had to do it in writing. I submitted a letter of cancellation in August and Continental Advantage didn't honor my request. They tried to debit my account in September for $78.00.

I was lied to and would like my payments that I made to Continental Advantages returned to me.
