Gave deposit recepits displaying a balance to my employer who was making a payroll deposit

On several different occasions, two different branches, a Washington Mutual Bank Teller gave to my employer, after making a bi-weekly deposit of my payroll, deposit receipts showing my balance. This occurrence happened four times at Washington Mutual Bank, Branch # 1026, Riverside-CA in the month of July and once at Washington Mutual, Branch # 5211 in June.

My real concern is after reporting it to the bank, their only response was to write the branch manager of each bank asking them not to let it ever happen again. My question is, Why should I have to remind a Branch Manager to reinforce something that should have already been efficiently done prior to this. I feel that my right to privacy has been violated. This blunder only signifys that somehow the Tellers who violated my rights of privacy was simply snoozing during the most important part of their training. I've made numerous deposits into accounts that were not mine at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc. And they have never given me a recepit showing the balance on those accounts.

I am appalled that a bank, such as Washington Mutual, whom I trusted with the privacy of my banking information could disclose that information to any Tom, Dick, Harry or Gertrude without them even asking for it.
