Greenleaf Financial Group - I received a realistic looking check to be depoited in order to receive full award

I received a congratulatory letter and a check for the amount of $3,850.00 with instructions to call a number in order to have my securty code "lifted" in order to receive the full $100,000 award.

I smelled a rat.

A google search of Greenleaf Fnancial Group, apparently a real financial holding company, did'nt answer my question, but a google search of the address given under the nameplate gave me:

Aquarius Auto Suppy in San Juan.

Huh? Additionally the letter was mailed in Canada using a computer generated mailing slip, and though it was written in proper standard English (No surprise coming from Puerto Rico) what drew my cynicism was the fact that Fortune Global Award inc was misspelled as Fotune Global.

I think that once you deposit the check, it is returned to whoever this is, and once they receive it they have your bank's routing code and your account number.
