My mom and brother were told to get into this crazy debt settlement program together even though my mom is a banker. They quit paying debt then charge you a fee to do what happens automatically as the banks and credit cards automatically settle accounts when they charge them off when they are 5 to 9 mos past due apparently. The company charges a huge 15% fee and all of that is put out of your intial money to them. The sad thing is nobody answers the customer service phone number so you wait on hold almost an hour and their people are rude and not helpful. You probably will get sued when you become a client and then hopefully you drop out and then they don't have to take your calls anymore as they got all of their money up front so who cares about you.
