Negative bogus account that doesnt exsit on my credit

I have an AT&T account that is not real on my account and being updated every month as past due. And in collections. I dispute it every year but I am told that there is sufficient information for the account to be kept on my credit and that is not true. I have called AT&T and they have no record of the account so I dont understand why it has not been deleted.
