AT&T Rip off. Credit raport says I own $284 to AT&T and I dont have clue where this account com from

My current credit raport shows a collection account of $284 from Palisades Collection. I realy have know idea where thise account com from and why it is in collection. I was AT&T customer for a couple years, but after my contract end I sign with a nader company.
Now, after two years wenn this hapend my credit raport says I have a collection account from Palisades Collection and they wann mi to pay $284 which I own to AT&T Wireless. This is NOT true. I don't know what to do. There is no contact info on the credit raport and I refuse to send a payment for something I know nothing about. This company is riping people off.
