They refuse to give me a straight answer on my payoff and/or other payment information

I had my original loan with the Money Store and then Wilshire bought it from them.

I have requested multiple times over the past year or so for a payoff amount, a payment history since 1997 when I started with Wilshire and a history of every "fee" that has been added to my account since the beginning of my loan with them. I have requested these by phone and each time i'm told that it will take 7-10 business days for me to receive it. I wait at the mailbox and still i've gotten nothing from them.

Last year my home almost went into foreclosure due to non payment of my 2nd mortgage. I was having money difficulties so my monthly payment to Wilshire was not on time. I'll admit I got pretty far behind on both my first and 2nd mortgages. I went into a payment plan with Wilshire to repay what I was behind.

For the last year I have been paying double my original payments to a loan that, according to Wilshire, has had basically 500 dollars paid on it since 1997 towards the principal. My interest rate is very high so I expected that. I asked at that time to give me a schedule of payments and fees that I would be responsible for. This included lawyers fees and various other amounts that they would give me over the phone. I requested it in writing. I still haven't gotten a straight answer to what I've paid to them and what it is for.

Each and every time I speak to them they give me different amounts and even went as far to tell me that what shows on their website isn't ever correct. Over the phone I was given quotes such as $16,000 when in all actuality my loan with them when it started was only $13,000 in 1997!

All i've wanted from them was a true account of what has occured with my loan, a true payoff statement, and a history of my payments. Like I said before, I've requested this multiple times and every time i'm told it will take 7-10 business days. They see it in my notes that i've requested them and on what days but I have yet to receive anything concrete from them at all. I was told by the customer service agent that I usually end up getting that it was "probably lost in the mounds of paperwork that they have going out there". I could understand one time... But four or five in less than 6 months?!

Their customer service is a joke and apparently their "system" that they get their information from was made of stone back in the dinosaur ages.

I am very interested in getting together with anyone on here who is filing suit against this Company for their wrong doing. Please contact me whenever possible with more information if there is any.
