United fulfillment bureau took $299.95 out of my acc. Plus $24.95 for s.&h. For a lists of grants. They lied. Ripoff! Lakewood co

On April 10 I was looking on the internet for goverment help for a down payment on a home for my family. Everyone needs help from time to time. I saw this site on www.usgrants.com and gave my information on it with my phone#. The next day I received a call from a lady named Kathy who said that there is a fee to receive a list of gov. Grants. I said that I may not be able to come up with $299.95 because I have a family of 5. She went on to tell me how she received $10,000 from a grant to get her family a house and that is how she came to the company... To help others that were like her cause it felt good.

I called her later that day with the cc info from my boyfriend and I. I left a message, Kathy called me back and transfered me to Norma. Norma said that they do all the goverment grants start to finish and that I could apply next year for any other grant without a fee. I was given a verification code and told the hours of operation 8 a. M - 2 p. M Mountain time and that an application will be coming in the mail 15 to 20 days.

I waited and waited. Checked the mail everyday for the "package". It finally arrived. It looks like a magazine with blue background and American Flag and the Statue of Liberty on it. I sent the package out a week later on June 18 07 to an address of 55 santa fe dr. Unit J#303. I even had an artical # on it.

I received the green postcard back and it shows that they received all of my personal information in it on June 20,07. I thought that it might take a few weeks to look over my personal information and get a list to me so I waited to call them.

On 07.24.07 @12 noon mt I left a message. I received a call back from a private number @ 1:19 pm that same day lasting 1.50 min. The lady (no name was given) said "It will be up to 12 weeks before you get the list of agencies that will give you grant and no one will call me from the bureau for any questions they have all they need.

I have since then called them on 10.04.07 at 9:41 A.M.M.T. And left a message. I said, "Where is my list?". No call back.

I called on 10.12.07 @ 1:02 P.M.M.T. Left just name and number to call me back.

I called on 10.15.07 @ 9:42 A.M.M.T. The Answering machine said "Sorry there is no more room to leave messages. Try your call later"

I looked up ripoff and started to cry... Not just cause of the money... But because they have all of my personal information in that packet where ever it may be or who is reading it or better yet perhaps my identity will be taken.

I am an honest person. So honest that a few years ago out of the blue there was $9,000 added to my account and I went back into the bank to tell them that this is not my money. The bank may have never found that money, But I had to do the right thing. I never thought that this would happen to me.

I really needed and still need that money, the $299.95 24.95 s&h... Considered down the toilet.

Please do not do this. It is a scam. I am telling the truth.
