National Platinum
Scammed application

Business & Finance

I was being charged for nine months to an account that was dormant until I got a notice of overdraft from my bank. I never applied for credit for anything. I never agreeed to pay $14 a month for any service and purposely avoid any such deals, but somehow this compnay was able to get enough information from me to begin charging $14 a month for nine months.

I called them and they quizzed me on personal information before they would answer who they are and what the service that I was being chgarged for did. When I refused to give them personal information, they hung up on me.

I called again and gave them just enough information to learn who they were. I was told I had a line of credit of $10,000 to shop online. With who, I said. They said, "on line. How would I find the website. I asked. They said that if I was going to cancel the service they didn't have to tell me. What BS.

When i asked to speak to management, they said that there was no one to talk to. They did cancel the service, but refused to refund any previously collected money.

How can they trick people online to get enough information to charge them? Stay away from these parasites!
