Free Credit Report has cost me $70 in two months and I still have no report!

Business & Finance

Two months ago I registered for a 'Free Credit Report' online at this site. At time of registration I was asked for a credit card number stating that the report was really $0.99. I gave the number.

Now two months later I see that there are multiple unauthorized charges to my card, thus far totalling about $70. I called the company to cancel whatever subscription this was and the rep stated that it was not possible unless i had my Customer ID number, which I never recieved. I'm now trying to go through my bank to get this resolved, before another month gets charged.

Looks like I'm not alone, this company needs to be stopped. Any attorneys out there want to take this as a class action? If so, count me in.
