Took money, now they're ruining my credit

Business & Finance

About a year ago, CCA took 298 from my checking account without my permission. After several attempts to get a refund for CCA, I went to my bank (Wells Fargo), and I filed a complaint. A rep had told me that my account would be cancelled at one point, but they weren't going to refund the money they stole. I tried to speak to several people and was told to call back at another time. After that I was never able to reach anyone. Luckily, my bank refunded my money in about a week or so. I had to close my account and open a new one. I thought that was the last I would have to deal with this scamming company. Now, here it is a year later, and guess what? CCA has filed a report on my credit report. It now shows on my account in the "Adverse Accounts" section. So, not only did these people try to rip me off, but now they want to ruin my credit!!! I do not know what to do now? If anyone has any suggestions on how I could possibly get this off my credit report, please let me know.
