Rent Check Cleared Before Debit Purchases, Causing Many Overdraft Fees

I had money in my bank account, and made purchases at about nine different places. My rent check cleared before I expected it to, (however about it was about three days after I made the debit card purchases) so I was a paycheck short, but I wasn't worried about it because I knew I could get money in it in time if it got rejected, so it would go through the next time. I knew there would be a $35 fee, but one $35 fee is better then paying the rent late, in my opinion. Bank of America cleared my rent check before all of my debit card purchases and over drafted every single one. Now I'm about $700 in the negative. It charged me over $300 in overdraft fees. That is ridiculous. I don't know if there's anything I can do. There's no way I can afford to pay it before they close my account. Going to go with another bank before that happens, I guess.
