Afni Claims $985.19 Bill From 1991-94 in Area Code I Never Lived

On 08/07 I received a collections bill in the sum of $985.19 from Afni Inc who said they represent Verizon. It was not my phone number or my phone bill which after MY research was from 1991-1994 and from an area code. I have not lived at. I made contact by phone but could not resolve this. So, I filed on line with the federal trade commission on identity theft in this matter and sent a copy of the email report to Afni president and to the general manager. Yes I sent a copy to myself as well.

After days and days of research I found the person and address who stole my information. Which I sent to Afni as well. I also went to google.com and looked up statue of limitations on phone bills. In the state of New York it is 6 years and this was 14 years so while it is not my debt, I am covered. Then I found out that this company has done this to count less people. Which got me angry enough to file this report.
