Capital One Credit Card Service, Richmond, VA Capital One Credit Card Services is Fraudulently Charging After They Promise a Bonus

Capital One Credit Services promises you a signing bonus of $50 for opening and using their credit card. But what they really do is CHARGE you $50, with the charge description reading "Credit Card Usage Bonus"! Do they think we are all so stupid that we will see a charge for $50, and figure its a bonus just because they call it that? I called their customer service number, and ended up talking to a lady in Bombay India.

I told her that if the V.P. Of Credit Services didn't call me that day and explain how they would make such a huge mistake, I would make it my life's campaign to expose them for the rip off scam artists that they are, and never pay them another penny back.

I sent a letter to the Capital One Fraud Services Dept. And reported that I had been fraudulently charged... By Capital One!!!

I also sent a copy of my statement showing the fraudulent charge to the U.S. Attorney General's office in Washington, D.C., and also to CNN, MSNBC, and FoxNEWs. Of course they will never report it, because Capital One advertises all the time on their channels. Since then (this was in the last 24 hours) my phone service mysteriously stopped working, so I cant call anyone now.

This is pure insanity. I just wanted a credit card to buy a guitar.

Now I guess I'll get a free guitar out of it, because I don't intend on ever paying them back. They have cost me way more than $1000 of my time, and I really dont care about my credit report. I'll just put a memo in my credit report saying exactly what I have said here:

Capital one is ripping off the public

End of story.
