Debt Recovery Solutions
Recieved a bill from them saying i owed $918 from a Verizon account I never opened 5 years ago. Ripoff

I received a letter from Debt recovery solutions, LLC this past saturday and i could not believe what i read from the letter. That I had to pay $918.76 for a Verizon account I never opened from 5 years ago. It was somebody who somehow got my SSN and name to open an account. I have not call them yet but I am sending a letter saying that i know my rights and i need proof from you guys to show that i owed that money. I'm glad i did my research and found this website. Looks like i wasn't the only one.

Questions for you guys though,

Did anyone end up paying the amount this company asked for? If not, did it effect your credit score? That is the most i'm concern about.
