This company has gone up on my payments for insurance and refused to pay out on claims ripoff

This company has it's own insurance company and they are my biggest complaint.
I have had trouble with my air conditioner from the first summer. It would build up water inside the ducts and leak out into the floor. They sent their Techs out 3 times. The last time, they said the trouble was from "misuse and neglect" and the insurance would not cover it.

They wanted 300 dollars to clean the cores in an acid bath. I refused to pay it.

I called a local air conditioner service and they said that was hogwash! The unit did not need cleaning, it was a defect in the design. The Technician said he had the same unit and had to alter it also.

He removed the filters from the top of the cores and put them in the door, then he put a trap on the drain hose outside. The unit has worked fine ever since and I have not had any water in my ducts.

When I called the insurance company about fixing the damage to my floor around the unit, they refused to fix it because their tech siad it was my fault. They also have gone up on my payments from 680 dollars to 743 dollars because of the insurance.

After paying for 5 years I ask them to refinance to get my payments down, because I have recently divorced. They said they can't because I am on a "fixed rate". What does that have to do with it?
