Ripoff They want payment for something they said I did in July

I have received a letter for a payment and if the payment is not received in 15 days they will report me to CL Verify Database. I am not sure what this is as they said the payday loan happened in July. You would think they would of sent a letter a long time ago. I called them and I asked them for my contract and one of the guys threatened you can see your contract in front a judge. But I contacted the FTC and they said they have to show you the contract as it is your right before they can get a payment. I wrote them a letter stating my rights and I contacted the FTC to make a complaint. I am not sure what else to do I am still waiting on what I recieve. I certified the letter too and so there they will need to sign it. Plus, you are allowed 30 days before anything as you are allowed to dispute it. But I have this feeling they will report it to CL verify database which reports it to the credit bureaus. Have you guys had this problem.
