Committed fraud using a banking account to ripoff thousands of dollars and destroy my life

My mother and father are on my mortgage and had made several payments by phone with no problem. After my mother (my father is also on the mortgage), made a payment by phone, one of their so called associates, put my name on the account. I am not on their account so the bank refused to pay it. Rather than calling to let us know of the problem, they proceded to send out forclosure notices.

When we called trying to straighten out the problem, we were told the check had been sent back to them "insuficient funds." Not true! The next call we were told the check had been sent back "return to maker." What? Before we could get another check to them we start getting letters from their attorney with the intend to forclose.

So now, they have sent their version of a repayment plan which is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard of. How can these people continue to do business in this country? Aren't there laws against fraud? Aren't there laws agains preditory lenders? We dealt with Ameriquest when we refianced the property, then it went to AMC Mortgage. I guess they are the same?

They have drained myself, my parents and I'll have no where to go. I will be on the streets. If I'd known any of the things I've found on this websight and others, I would have run away from their proposals as fast as I could.

Does anyone have any suggestions to stop these people? From everything I've read they are like Hitler and his goons!
